Eaglereach Wilderness Resort

Eaglereach is a nature-based resort with over 640 acres of natural adventure land featuring an amazing variety of fauna and flora. Native animals which have made Eaglereach their home include; Kangaroos, Wallaroos, Wallabies, Echidnas, Goannas and that is  before you look skyward and marvel at King Parrots, Eastern and Crimson Rosellas, Red-Browed Firetails, Blue Wrens, Bush Doves and the majestic Wedge tailed Eagle.

Eaglereach comprises a collection of custom built family and spa lodges as well as  a superior resort room complex. Each is sole use and complete with every luxury to make your stay a genuine pleasure. Inclusions vary from pool tables to sauna rooms. These range in size and location to suit every budget and perfect for a Romantic Getaway. From resort rooms to a six -bedroom corporate chalet. Expansive verandahs provide spectacular views across the Hunter region either to the Barrington Tops, one of Australia's largest and awe-inspiring National Parks, or to the Pacific Ocean.

Guests can discover this mountaintop wilderness resort in a variety of ways. On foot, in Kayak, Mountain Bikes or self-drive Discovery Buggies. Every day can be an adventure from the accessible private rainforest, to the lookout at the Mount George Trig Station.

The resort's facilities include swimming pool, tennis court health & fitness centre 15 station exersite childrens play centre, a games room and a series of dams for yabbying. Goonarook Lagoon is another superb location for swimming, kayaking and a challenge to those who care to throw out a line for sport fishing. All non motorised equipment and activities are complementary as is the Internet kiosk and DVD library.

The surrounding area offers some wonderful local attractions for self-drive or guided tours. These include the local Hunter vineyards, historical villages such as Morpeth and Gresford for vineyards, Port Stephens for dolphin cruises and the Barrington Tops National Park.
